“Heart of Gratitude”

The Heart Line

The Heart Line began with “Heart of Gratitude” a pendant heart with a dove and central round-cut or trillion-cut gemstone.

Inspired by an ischemic stroke; the result of a congenital hole in my heart, the size of a one-carat diamond. I received a PFO procedure for a one-inch diameter titanium mesh ball, placed in the center of my heart to prevent another stroke. A full heart of gratitude; I am bionically well.

The Heart Line is a series of pendants with the heart as the main motif.

Heart of Gratitude, Owl Love, Puppy Love, Kitty Love, Cat Love, Bear Love, Fox Love, Bee Love; an on-going project to include other animals that are close to your heart.

“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;

what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

Please note, all jewelry takes about 3 weeks to produce.

Endangered Species … Humankind

It starts with the bees. If the bees die, we die.

We have endangered our planet, and therefore, ourselves.

The hexagonal cubbyholes contain their larvae.
This is where life begins for the bee.
The honeycombs are each of us.
The hive is all of us.

Our survival is intimately linked to these life-giving pollinators.

Out of the collective acknowledgement of our short-sightedness and our potential for birthing new ideas and the choices we make, must come hope and healing.
